Supplemental Inductees for the Year 2014
We've inducted the first 103 funny acts in April of 2014, and by a special secret
election via e-mail, here's another 25 inductees for the year of 2014.
1. Performing Artists: Modern
Modern: Artists (audio recording soloists including stand-up, duos or groups) who first came onto the scene in 1980 or later. Acts must be at least 25 years old. This is the era when novelty acts had much greater difficulty hitting the singles charts and getting airplay on radio.

2. Performing Artists: Old Timers
Old Timers: Artists (audio recording soloists including stand-up, duos or groups) who first came onto the scene in 1955 and no later than 1979, the common era when popular music charts once had an occasional novelty act hitting the top 10 every once in a while. It's also the era when The Dr. Demento show first came onto the syndication radio scene in 1974.

Pioneers: Artists (audio recording soloists including stand-up, duos or groups) who first came onto the scene prior to the year 1955.

Radio: Artists whose contribution to dementia are primarily for the radio. Comedic actors, comedians, radio commercials, announcers.

Screen: Artists whose contribution to dementia are primarily for the screen, with contributions to sound and/or prose secondary. Comedic actors, stand-up (made for visual), stage, announcers, voice actors, TV commercials, comedians.

Non-Participants: People who made most of their contributions to the land of dementia not directly involved in the creation process. Journalists, reviewers, critics, bloggers, historians, documentarists, educators, commentators, show hosts (non-acting), audio or video deejays, and other presenters and non-creators.
